The Digital Marketing/Deputy Project Manager will be working with our Sr Project Manager in our marketing department. This role focuses on government and municipality general and multicultural markets which combine creativity and high-level organization, accuracy, and time-sensitive turnarounds for the production process. The comprehensive projects include planning, execution, and require measurable analytical metrics according to client specifications. Successful candidates need to demonstrate creativity, digital/media campaign experience with CTA methods and their ability to thrive in a collaborative, time-sensitive environment with coordinated team efforts. This is a remote position however Southern California residents are preferred. Some travel is required.
Key responsibilities
- Digital marketing: Planning strategies for digital content, branding, creating content, visual graphics, QR codes and illustrations for web-based projects. Create calendar posting schedule.
- Social media: Strong knowledge of social platforms such as FB, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Tik Tok; create content, graphics, illustrations and strategies for increasing engagement with audiences.
- Digital analytics: Monthly reporting on web and social platforms for customer projects such as FB, Instagram, X, LinkedIn; generate analytics including site activity, sharable content, user engagement, web analytics.
- Mailchimp campaigns: Create content, graphics and promotional awareness using mailchimp campaign tools. Track progress and generate reports.
- Planning and scheduling: Managing assigned project tasks, responsibilities, estimating timelines, and detailed project schedules.
- Progress monitoring: Tracking project progress against the marketing plan, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Communication management: Regularly updating stakeholders on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring clear communication channels.

- Software skills: Knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Dropbox programs, efficiency with converting files for content development process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience, media buy experience a plus
- Government, municipality or procurement experience a plus
- Knowledge of multicultural marketing a plus
- Samples of portfolio preferred
Compensation: $40-$50 per hour DOE, 20-25 hours weekly
- This is a Contract role, hours may increase over time
